A combination day joins two neighbouring islands that serve different purposes. Delos is the UNESCO archaeological property and official visitor guidance says not to swim at its coast. Rhenia is the intended swim area and part of a wider archaeological and protected marine landscape. The product title alone does not tell you whether Delos is entered, how long the visit lasts or whether anyone steps ashore at Rhenia.

What the evidence supports
Checked formats range from viewing Delos only from the sea to short or longer site visits. Delos is the no-swimming archaeology island; Rhenia is the intended swim component, often from an anchored vessel. Site entry, guide status, sequence and water-entry method must each be disclosed.

Two checked shared-group excursions use Mykonos Old Port, while other sailing formats use Ornos. Confirm the exact pier and meeting point rather than relying on the words “Mykonos port”.
UNESCO archaeological island
Delos is the inscribed World Heritage property, with a sacred, commercial and residential landscape best understood on foot. Current combination formats can offer no entry, about one hour independently, roughly 90 minutes with a registered guide or a longer claimed visit. Never average those into one standard duration.

Swim-area island and protected landscape
Rhenia is archaeologically important, including the extensive Delian necropolis, even though an ordinary cruise stop is usually for swimming rather than a managed ruins visit. The selected cove and water entry depend on conditions and the vessel; no single verified shore-access pin exists.
