Our practical verdict
For a daytime or early-evening visit, KTEL is the clear low-cost option. For nightlife, mobility needs or a property far from the stop, reserve a taxi or transfer in both directions or keep a car with a sober driver. Do not arrive in Naoussa after the last outbound bus expecting an on-demand app to guarantee the return.

KTEL labels this board as valid from 25 August through 10 September 2026. For travel on 24 August or after 10 September, open the operator's live timetable index before relying on a departure.
The reverse dated service to Santa Maria ends at 18:00. Reserve the return before dinner if the guest will stay later.
Recent traveller threads contradict one another about ride-hailing availability. Use the official taxi-rank number or a confirmed transfer instead of assuming an app will produce a car.
Getting into Naoussa is only half the plan when the final buses stop around dinner time.
