Mykonos Extended Hike Adventure — 5.5-Hour Trek to the Shipyards of Elm

This 9.8 km trail is designed for active hikers looking for a full-morning challenge on Mykonos. The route begins after a transfer to Mykonian Farm and works its way through the island's interior, rising steadily through terrain that most visitors never see — granite quarries, working horse farms, and small white-and-blue chapels scattered across the hillside. At Point 4, known as 'The Wind', the trail reaches its highest elevation. From here the views stretch across the Aegean to Ikaria, Samos, and Tinos — a clear-day panorama that takes in a wide arc of the Cyclades. The path then continues for roughly another 3.7 km to Point 6, the Shipyards of Elm, where local fishermen maintain their boats in a sheltered coastal setting. The hike finishes with a swim at the Shipyards before the group transfers back. All participants receive a backpack, water bottle, food package, and a traditional 'hook' walking stick at the start. An optional traditional lunch at Mykonian Farm is available on return. The tour departs at 08:30 with hotel and port pickups included in the price. An additional transfer fee of €10 per person applies for guests staying in more remote areas including Elia, Kalafatis, Agrari, Panormos, Super Paradise, and Kanalia. Comfortable hiking shoes, sun protection, and a swimming costume are recommended. A light jacket is useful in spring and autumn.
