West Milos Sunset Jeep Safari — Hidden Beaches & Golden-Hour Picnic (5 Hours)

This afternoon safari covers the least-visited corner of Milos, where paved roads give way to dirt tracks and the coastline remains free of sunbeds and beach bars. Groups travel in premium Jeep Wranglers, strictly limited to four guests per vehicle, with a local driver and guide handling navigation and commentary. The route runs from Adamantas or Pollonia into the western interior, with an early stop at Agia Marina for coastal photography before heading deeper off-road to Agathia Beach. Agathia is a silver-sand bay with shallow, clear water — one of the few beaches on Milos that sees almost no tourist traffic. Guests can swim before the convoy continues to Ammoudaraki, where the group stops for a picnic on the sand: fresh local cheese, seasonal fruit, light snacks, and unlimited wine, beer, and soft drinks served from the vehicle. As the afternoon light drops, the Jeep climbs rugged mountain tracks to the chapel of Prophet Elias, positioned high above the western cliffs. From this vantage point the group watches the sun set over the open Aegean, with views across the island's volcanic ridges and hidden coves. The drive back to the original pick-up points completes by around 21:30. The tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, people with back or neck injuries, or those sensitive to prolonged heat. Comfortable enclosed shoes are required on the off-road terrain — flip-flops and open sandals are not permitted.
