Premium Catamaran Cruise from Rethymno to Georgioupoli Bay (6.5 Hours)

4.7 (420+ reviews)6.5hEasyEnglish, GreekFamily friendlyInstant confirmationPrivate option available

This cruise departs Rethymno Port at the time shown on the booking calendar on a Bali 4.3 catamaran, heading west along Crete's northern coast to Georgioupoli Bay. The bay sits where the Almyros River meets the sea, creating a shallow lagoon with calm water and green surroundings — conditions that make it well suited to swimming and water sports. The vessel anchors here for the bulk of the trip, giving guests uninterrupted time in the water. On board, equipment includes high-quality snorkeling masks and fins, stand-up paddleboards, inflatable noodles, and a pink flamingo float. Gentle fishing gear is also available. The catamaran's wide front decks, sunbeds, and shaded lounges comfortably accommodate up to 25 passengers, and a marine audio system runs throughout the trip. Food and drink are included in the price. Guests board to a breakfast bowl and welcome drinks — espresso, detox water, and teas. A nutritionist-designed Cretan lunch, made using organic local ingredients, is served around midday with unlimited local white wine, cold Greek beer, and soft drinks. Vegetarian and children's menu options are available on request. If wind or sea conditions prevent sailing to Georgioupoli Bay, the captain takes an alternative route to Skaleta, a coastal stretch known for a large natural rock arch. Passengers are notified of any route change before departure. Note that port authority rules require full passenger details — name, date of birth, passport or ID number, and nationality — at the time of booking, and the vessel cannot delay for late arrivals.
