Scuba Diving for Beginners in Halkidiki — 3-Hour Discover Dive

This program introduces first-time divers to scuba in a structured, unhurried format. You start with a 20-minute theory session covering the basics of breathing from a regulator, equalising pressure, and managing your gear. From there, a short 3-minute drive takes you to Porto Valitsa Bay, where you practise in shallow, beach-accessible water until you feel fully comfortable with the equipment. Once ready, instructors lead you on a guided underwater tour of the reefs and marine life around Porto Valitsa Bay — colourful sponges, corals, and local fish at a depth suited to your first dive. The pace is entirely determined by how you progress; there is no rush to move deeper before you are ready. The program is flexible: if you enjoy your first dive, you can add a second dive on the same day. All equipment is included in the price, and sessions run daily at 09:30 and 13:30 throughout the year. Triton Scuba Diving Center is located in Halkidiki. Transfers from hotels in the Kassandra peninsula are not included, so guests should plan their own transport to the centre.
