2-Day Motorcycle Camping Adventure in the Rhodope Mountains

Starting from Drama in northern Greece, this two-day tour takes riders deep into the Rhodope Mountains on Honda CRF 300L dual-sport motorcycles. The route passes through Elatia Forest — the largest fir forest in Greece — along rugged mountain roads before reaching the Thisavros Dam, one of the largest hydraulic structures in the Balkans. A professional guide leads the group throughout, and a support vehicle with a spare motorcycle follows the route in case of mechanical issues. On Day 1, riders depart Drama headquarters and make their way into the Rhodope Mountains. The day includes guided riding, coffee and snack stops, and an evening campfire dinner at the overnight camp. Day 2 begins with a full breakfast at the camp before heading toward the Thisavros Dam area, then returning to Drama headquarters with refreshment stops along the way. The tour covers approximately 120–150 km per day, with around 5 hours of active riding time each day. Camping gear, the motorcycle with fuel, a waterproof bag, and all meals are provided. Rider gear — helmet, jacket, gloves, boots — is not included but can be rented on request. A valid motorcycle licence is mandatory. The tour is not suitable for children or inexperienced riders. Minimum group size is 2 riders; maximum is 5. The tour runs year-round, weather permitting.
