Departing Heraklion Port at the time shown on the booking calendar, this five-hour morning cruise takes guests to Dia Island aboard a Lagoon 450F catamaran — a modern, spacious vessel with sunbeds, shaded lounges, Wi-Fi, and freshwater shower facilities. The sail across the Cretan Sea takes approximately one hour, during which guests are welcomed with espresso, detox water, teas, and a healthy breakfast bowl.
Dia Island is an uninhabited protected area in the Natura 2000 network, roughly seven kilometres north of Heraklion. The catamaran anchors in a clear-water bay where the crew sets up a full range of water equipment: inflatable water slide, sea scooter, water tube, kayak, stand-up paddleboards, and snorkelling gear. Guests can explore the bay at their own pace or simply swim from the boat.
At noon, a nutritionist-designed Cretan lunch is served on board using fresh, locally sourced organic ingredients. The open bar covers local white wine, Greek beer, soft drinks, and bottled water throughout the cruise. Vegetarian and child-friendly meal options are available on request, and a box of toys for young children can be arranged in advance.
The group is capped at 20 guests, keeping the experience semi-private. The cruise is weather-dependent and may be rescheduled if sea conditions are unsuitable. Guests must arrive at the port at least 20 minutes before departure and provide full passenger details — name, date of birth, passport or ID number, and nationality — at the time of booking to meet port authority requirements.
