From €600 per groupAncient Olympia Private Day Tour from Athens
This private full-day tour departs from any Athens address and travels to Ancient Olympia, the archaeological site where the original Olympic Games were held. The drive southwest crosses the Isthmus of Corinth, with a stop at the Corinth Canal — a narrow waterway cut through solid rock that connects the Aegean and Ionian Seas.
The journey is made in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Snacks, bottled water, onboard Wi-Fi, and mobile chargers are provided throughout the day. The driver is knowledgeable about Greek history and can answer questions during the drive. No other guests share the vehicle — the tour is private to the booking group only.
At Olympia, guests explore the archaeological site at their own pace. The ruins include the Temple of Zeus, the ancient Olympic stadium, and the nearby Archaeological Museum of Olympia. Entrance fees are paid separately on arrival and are not included in the tour price. A licensed guide inside the site can be arranged separately if required.
Total travel time is approximately 9 to 10 hours including stops. The tour accommodates groups of 1 to 7 guests, is wheelchair and stroller accessible, and infant seats are available. Athens Airport pickup can be arranged on request for an additional €50.
